Grande Dixence

20 minutes was tested on Tuesday, the longest zip line in Switzerland. Upon arrival at the top of the gondola Grande Dixence (VS), the tone is given. You have to get ready and put on your shoulder belt and safety helmet. Then, cross the dam from one side to another on foot and climb 170 steps to reach the promontory where the departure is.
The landscape is beautiful, despite the few drops of rain come to sow discord. But the water will not stop the attraction. "No, as long as there is no storm and especially lightning, we continue. Last week, it was raining until half of the descent, then it was fine, "explains Sébastien Lipawsky, director of Theytaz Excursions and instigator of this project.
